About the Role

Net Technical Solutions requires an Apprentice to train as a Junior Developer to join the E-Business Solutions team.  Partnering with an Ofsted registered Apprenticeship provider, you will undertake a Level 3 Software Technician Apprenticeship over a 15 – 18-month period.

Training will be delivered via a blended learning schedule of virtual online classrooms every week with assignments and tests along the way.

This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with a strong desire to pursue a career as a developer within a successful, friendly and growing IT services company.   The role involves the design, development, implementation and support of web-based, database-driven solutions for all types of business processes, working on projects from concept to completion. 


  • Development of bespoke web and mobile applications for external clients or internal projects.
  • Support of existing systems for customers and internal operations.
  • Assist development team in the delivery of projects.

Other key strengths required include: consistency, interpersonal skills, ability to work unsupervised & under pressure, self-confidence, analysis, numeracy & literacy, prioritisation, a positive, professional & proactive approach.

About you

  •  You will have a GCSE in English, Maths and IT subject
  • Not a pre-requisite but some level of work experience would assist your application, whether it has been in retail or hospitality or even delivering the newspaper
  • You will have a true interest in software development and may have even dabbled in writing your own software or algorithm or created something within technology at some point - we would love to see it
