You will be responsible for providing high quality support services to customers on site and some remote support from the Farnham office. Responsible for server installations, migrations, configurations and upgrades. Assisting in planning of projects using technical knowledge to ensure projects run smoothly.
There will be times when working at the office, you will be involved in providing assistance to the Service Desk by way of remote support and be a point of escalation for other engineers.
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be carrying out regular service visits on site to many of our larger customers with complex networks to ensure all servers and network equipment is running smoothly and looking for any potential problems.
To facilitate the sharing of knowledge amongst the team, you will be responsible for the ongoing production and updating of customer documentation.
To be successful you will need to demonstrate a proven record of working within a 3rd Line Support role, ideally within a Managed Service Provider or alternatively supporting multiple sites at one time and within a Microsoft Windows Active Directory environment
